The TireByter Tire Reduction Process for passenger and light truck tires incorporates three simple operations. Working together each integrated component forms a clean, highly efficient and economical system ideal for use by tire distributes and traditional tire recyclers. Step 1 — CGE TireByter model 20.06 (Double D Debeader). Automatically pulls both tire beads from a whole tire in one operation. Step 2 — CGE TireByter model 15.06 (Autosheer). Cuts the tire sidewall and tread from one side to the other in preparation for chipping. Step 3 — CGE TireByter model 11.06 (Tire Chipper). The core of our process, the patented model 11.06 is capable of chipping all passenger and light truck tires into 1" or 2" square pieces. Unlike output from competitive grinding and shredding equipment, TireByter chips are clean cut, with virtually zero steel belting wire protruding outside the edge of the rubber. These high quality chips are more desirable and more cost effective for use in tire derived fuel (TDF), septic systems, and as a general civil engineering aggregate (TDA) for drainage, grading and backfill applications.
