CGE TireByter model 15.06 Autosheer
Tractor trailer tires are best processed differently than
passenger and light truck tires to obtain the best economic
results. They typically have a much higher tread
rubber content which can be buffed off into mulch and
smaller rubber particles with a market value several times
that of chips containing steel wire.
Creation of Tire Blocks where 100% of a truck tire is Recycled.
Nevertheless, the tractor
trailer treads still must be reduced in size for acceptable
disposal or beneficial use. Tire slabs are used in
road base and land fill applications. An exciting new application
is the creation of Tire Blocks where 100% of a
truck tire is recycled. Tire blocks are used similarly to tire
bales in the construction of road base.
- Capable of processing up to 120 tires per hour.
- Reduces truck tires into ‘Clean-cut‘ slabs.
- Turns a waste disposal problem into a profit center.
- More energy efficient than alternative equipment,
typically consuming 1/10 as much power to process a
tire.
- Significant savings through the lower initial capital
investment.
- Lower maintenance costs, easy to maintain, very few
moving parts.
- Reduced man power - The operator need only load
the tread and start the cycle. The Autoshear cuts and
advances to the next position automatically until the
entire tread is cut to length.
- Positioned to address the needs of organizations that
process ‘low volume’s of tires and cant justify the
capital expense’ of ‘high volume’ tire recycling equipment
- Configurable to produce any length slabs as needed. The Model 15.06 Autoshear is consistent size
control and elimination of uncut steel strands are inherent
in the unique design of the 15.06.
Benefits:
- Low number of moving parts results in low maintenance.
- High-Energy Efficiency.
- One Pass Processing - The Model 15.06 processes
spent truck tires into nearly any size slab in a single
pass.
- The Model 15.06 is air cooled - no cooling water required,
zero discharge.
- Low Initial Capital Investment - Model 15.06 has a
purchase price only a fraction of alternative equipment
Advantages:
- Patented - CGR holds US and foreign patents.
- Portability Option - The small size of the Model 15.06
allows CGR to offer a mobile version of the tire recycling
system.
- Clean cut edges - reduces the amount of exposed
steel to almost zero.
Shear plates can be rotated to use all 4 cutting
edges, deferring the cost of replacement
- Made and Serviced in the US.
