CGE TireByter model 11.06 Tire Chipper

Capable of processing up to 200 tires* per hour and taking only a few seconds per tire, the Model 11.06 reduces automobile and light truck tiresinto ‘Cleancut‘ 1-2” chips.

Creates valuable chips out of worthless waste.

The Model 11.06 is designed to be energy efficient, easy to maintain and easy to maintain. End users benefit from significant savings through the lower initial capital investment, lower maintenance costs, lower facility costs and lower energy consumption. The Model 11.06 turns a waste disposal problem into a profit center.
The Model 11.06 was designed to address the needs of organizations that process ‘low volume’s of tires and cant justify the capital expense’ of ‘high volume’ tire recycling equipment.
A cubic yard of gravel weighs about 2,800 pounds; a cubic yard of tire chips weighs only about 800 pounds. This dramatically reduces transportation costs and the lower density of recycled tire material greatly reduces the expense and labor to construct drain fields.
Wear and tear on excavating equipment is greatly reduced. A typical septic system for a 4 bedroom home requires an average of 40 cubic yards of of aggregate. Approximately 50 tires are needed to produce a cubic yard of aggregate resulting in each septic installation using over 2000 tires. The use of recycled tire chips in septic system drainage fields is an established construction practice in many states throughout the county and one that has a positive impact on local scrap tire recycling markets.

*Actual output varies upon operator, up to 200 is standard and ranges up to 300 is possible
    Benefits:
    • Low Initial Capital Investment - Model 11.06 has a purchase price only a fraction of alternative equipment
    • High-Energy Efficiency - The Model 11.06 uses 1/10 to 1/5 of the energy consumed by some competitive products.
    • Clean cut edges - reduces the amount of exposed steel to almost zero. Saleable to tough applications

    Advantages:
    • Patent Protection - CGR hold US and foreign patents for the Model 11.06
    • Low number of moving parts results in low maintenance - The Model 11.06 has only seven moving parts. The 12 cutting surfaces have replaceable inserts that can be flipped and used again before being replaced. The inserts are easily accessible and can be rotated in approximately two hours, dramatically lowering downtime for maintenance.
    • One Pass Processing - The Model 11.06 processes spent passenger and light truck tires into 2” chips in a single pass. The chips produced are the ideal size for septic systems and drainage fields.
    • The Model 11.06 is air cooled - no cooling water required, zero discharge.
    • Portability Option - The small size of the Model 11.06 allows CGR to offer a mobile version of the tire recycling system.
